Authority Brands: Navigating Security in a Dynamic Environment

As a Senior Security Analyst at Authority Brands since 2020, I’ve honed my ability to monitor, investigate, and remediate security issues, ensuring sensitive data remains protected. Managing Microsoft 365/Exchange environments and vulnerability scans has allowed me to elevate our organization’s security posture. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I’ve enforced security policies and guided projects as a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME), particularly during the onboarding of new brands post-acquisition. Every day, I’m reminded of how crucial adaptability and precision are in safeguarding digital landscapes.

TeamLogic IT: Bridging Networks and Security

My time as a Network and Security Administrator at TeamLogic IT, in both 2017 and 2020, was marked by leadership and hands-on technical work. Overseeing helpdesk operations, client onboarding, and cybersecurity initiatives, I ensured seamless transitions and maintained robust security frameworks. Beyond the technical, I took pride in mentoring new team members and coordinating diverse projects, which bolstered my leadership skills and ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

Tenable: Empowering Organizations Against Vulnerabilities

Joining Tenable in 2018 as a Technical Support Engineer brought me into the heart of cybersecurity solutions. I provided advanced support to end users, helping them interpret vulnerability scans and close cyber exposure gaps. Collaborating with Research & Development to resolve software bugs offered a behind-the-scenes look at innovation and reinforced the importance of communication between technical teams and clients.

Next Day Blinds: A Diverse IT Role

In 2017, as a Technical Support Engineer, I balanced onsite and remote user support with infrastructure management. From disaster recovery solutions using AppAssure to managing VMware environments, I gained valuable experience across IT domains. Training new hires and overseeing VoIP systems highlighted my ability to bridge technical and operational needs.

Patient First: Supporting Healthcare Through IT

Healthcare IT brought unique challenges during my tenure as a System Support Engineer from 2012 to 2017. I supported helpdesk operations and infrastructure projects while leading a team in maintaining technical infrastructure. Training staff on IT policies and ensuring reliable systems in medical centers showcased the critical role technology plays in healthcare delivery.

Atlas Chiropractic: A One-Person IT Department

Serving as the sole IT Specialist in 2011-2012, I managed IT and marketing infrastructures across multiple offices. From maintaining servers and Gmail accounts to creating training materials and executing successful campaigns like Groupon, I developed a holistic view of IT’s role in small business success.

TKoE.us: Building and Maintaining Online Communities

Between 2008 and 2012, my role as a Moderator and Systems Technician allowed me to develop expertise in online system optimization. Managing content, negotiating vendor agreements, and maintaining site security taught me the importance of user experience and reliable platforms.

Sprint Adcomm DigiTel: Hands-On Technical Support

In 2009, as a Technician, I gained valuable customer-facing experience by repairing devices and assisting users in choosing plans and accessories. It was here that I first combined technical know-how with a focus on customer satisfaction.
